We have considered Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability to be a central part of our activities for a number of years. Over this time we have developed a model for unlocking mutual value for all our stakeholders through partnerships in sustainability initiatives with farmers and farmer groups, NGOs, donors, commercial partners and governments alike. We have set targets against the metrics we believe are at the core of these initiatives and will measure these on an annualised basis.

Our aspiration is to achieve a recognised and measurable standard for Olam that establishes a clear leadership position in sustainable management within our industry from seed to shelf – The Olam Sustainability Standard.
