Olam’s operations in Senegal began in 2008 with the incorporation of our subsidiary, Societe Senegalaise de Marchandises Alimentaires (SOSEMA). Since then, SOSEMA has grown into a leading agro-commodity company in Senegal and one of the leading importers and distributors of Milk Powder and Rice. Today, we employ 32 permanent staff out of our head office in Dakar.
