Outspan Guatemala was established in 2011 as a coffee export business. Soon after, a processing plant was acquired in Huehuetenango, one of the most important coffee producing regions renowned for its quality. Our corporate office is in Guatemala City. Olam seeks to consolidate its presence in the coffee business in Central America and strengthen its participation in the specialty coffee segment. Olam is also exploring additional opportunities to expand into other commodity product groups.
