I joined Britannia Food Ingredients in the UK in 2001. In my role as Development Manager I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the distinctive functional properties of our specialty fats. This has earned me the nickname ‘The Alchemist’ as I have created vegetable fats that give unique eating sensations in well-known confectionery products. Good communication and co-operation with our customers is key for the success of our new products. I also have to continuously evolve the recipes as changing nutritional requirements set new challenges to our product developments.
